These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at https://bbvisory.com, our online AI courses offered under the "AI Over 50" brand, and our AI advisory and agentic AI systems services (together, the "Services"). BBvisory LLC ("BBvisory," "we," "us," or "our") is a California limited liability company. Please read these Terms carefully. They form a legal agreement between you and BBvisory LLC.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
BBvisory is an AI education and advisory business. Our Services are entirely digital. We do not sell or ship any physical goods. Our Services include:
- AI Over 50 courses. Online AI education delivered as live cohort courses on the Maven platform under our "AI Over 50" brand.
- AI advisory. Advisory services that help businesses understand and adopt AI.
- Agentic AI systems. The design and delivery of AI systems for businesses.
We may update, improve, or discontinue any part of the Services over time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. Our "AI Over 50" brand is designed with professionals aged 50 and older in mind, but the Services are intended for any adult 18 or older. By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
4. Enrollment and Payment
Courses
Enrollment in AI Over 50 courses is handled through the Maven platform. When you enroll in a course, you do so through Maven, and your payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, through the Maven platform. BBvisory does not store your full card or payment card numbers; that information is collected and handled by Stripe and Maven. Your use of the Maven platform is also subject to Maven's own terms and policies.
Advisory and Systems Engagements
AI advisory and agentic AI systems engagements are billed according to a separate written agreement between you and BBvisory. That written agreement will govern the scope, fees, payment schedule, and other terms of the engagement. If there is any conflict between these Terms and your written engagement agreement regarding that engagement, the written agreement controls.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Courses
Course purchases made through Maven are covered by Maven's Satisfaction Guarantee. Under this guarantee, you may request a full refund within the eligible window for your cohort:
- For courses shorter than four weeks, you may request a full refund through the midpoint of the course.
- For courses that run four weeks or longer, you may request a full refund through the first two weeks of the course.
- Refund requests made after the eligible window are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Because refunds are processed through Maven, they are also subject to Maven's applicable policies and procedures.
Advisory and Systems Engagements
Refunds and cancellations for AI advisory and agentic AI systems engagements are governed by the separate written agreement for that engagement.
6. Intellectual Property
All course materials, curriculum, written content, graphics, and other materials made available through the Services, as well as the content of our website, are owned by BBvisory LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
If you are an enrolled user, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the course materials for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute the materials, except as expressly permitted;
- Sell, resell, license, rent, or otherwise commercialize the materials;
- Share your access credentials or provide access to people who are not enrolled; or
- Create derivative works from the materials without our written permission.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by BBvisory LLC.
7. Acceptable Use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of BBvisory or any third party;
- Disrupt, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or any related systems or networks;
- Harass, abuse, or harm other participants, instructors, or staff;
- Upload or transmit malicious code, or attempt to compromise the security of the Services; or
- Share, resell, or redistribute course content or access in violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for conduct that violates these Terms.
8. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party service providers to deliver the Services. These include Maven (course platform and enrollment), Stripe (payment processing), Calendly (scheduling introductory calls), Google Workspace (business email), and Vercel (website hosting). When you use these providers in connection with the Services, your use is also governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those terms. BBvisory is not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of third-party services.
9. Disclaimers
The Services and all educational content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Our educational content is provided for general information and learning purposes only. It is not professional, legal, financial, investment, tax, or other specialized advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. You are responsible for your own decisions and for how you apply what you learn. We do not guarantee any specific results, outcomes, income, or business performance from participating in our courses or engagements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BBvisory LLC and its members, officers, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to BBvisory (or, for course purchases, the amount paid through Maven) for the Service giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BBvisory LLC and its members, officers, and personnel from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
12. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in California.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Any changes take effect when we post the updated Terms. Your continued use of the Services after we post changes means you accept the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
